Position Description
A busy urgent care center near Fayetteville, GA is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment. This is a fast-paced, advanced urgent care setting with on-site physician support — no solo coverage.
Position Highlights
• Schedule: 5pm–1am, Mon–Sun
• Shifts: Evening / mid-overnight blocks
• Setting: Advanced urgent care, high volume
• EMR: EPIC
• Start: As soon as credentialed
What You’ll Do
• Perform comprehensive urgent care evaluations
• Order & interpret labs/imaging
• Manage a wide range of acute conditions
• Perform common procedures: laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal
• Collaborate with ED physician on-site
Requirements
• Active GA NP license + DEA
• Board certification
• Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or hospital-based experience strongly preferred
• EPIC experience
Compensation
• $85–$95/hr, based on experience & availability
• Malpractice coverage included
• 1099 Locums
